My experience with Budapest Dental Solutions was absolutely fantastic - I couldn't be happier with both the service and the outcome!

My dentist was Dr. Aron Pinter. In a very few words, Dr Pinter was one of the best dentists I have had the pleasure to meet. He is very competent, communicates well in English, and has all the social skills to make you feel at home, in what for many people is a new city. The staff who are friendly and helpful, facilities (don't let the outside facade scare you) which are modern and prices which are far better than anything I have experienced in Florida or Switzerland. Gabor was my friend and guide. He is a personable young man with a family. He is helpful and readily availble if you need his help. Although the Clinic offered to get me a hotel, I found my own hotel right across from the Hilton by the Castel in Buda, and at a very modest price ($57/day). Budapest is a beautiful city. I recommend the whole experience wholeheartedly. I give it a "10" across the board.

After having full upper and lower dentures for over 25 years I began to experience problems keeping the lowers in due to extensive bone loss. I decided I needed implants. After four consultations in Budapest I picked Budapest Dental Solutions as I was particularly impressed by the examination at The Oral Studio 'Oral and Maxillofacial Outpatient Surgery', it was a thorough examination, the same as I would receive from my own dentist, with free x-rays.
The surgery was modern and up to date with all the latest technology and was a regular Hungarian Dentist used by ordinary people and not a specific implant surgery used to capitalise on foreign “dental tourists”. The service I received from the “courier”, Gabor, was also great, translation’s if and when needed, he waited during my free consultation should I need any help, although the Dentist spoke perfect English. I was picked up from my door and delivered back with no problems and all airport transfers when I wanted them; it was like booking a taxi with a personal service. When I had the surgery I was very impressed again with the professionalism, hygiene and care. What I was recommended and agreed to was a lower “over denture”. I also decided on a full upper “normal chrome” denture to match. When I returned for the fitting three months later, it was great to have both upper and lower made and fitted in one week.
Again a great service from my personal driver and guide, Gabor, I was even loaned, free of course, a Hungarian mobile should I need to get in contact with Gabor for any reason. And the final effect…fantastic…it was, and is, like having my own teeth back, I can eat and chew any thing once again, and the new upper ordinary denture? Again fantastic, I have never had such a well fitted denture. I would and have recommended Budaapest Dental Solutions to anyone seeking treatment.

I had upper and lower dental implants, porcelain crowns fused on metal, and porcelain crowns. I cannot fault the treatment which cost a quarter of the cost I was quoted in Ireland and the UK. It is without doubt of the highest standard and beyond reproach. The quotation before treatment was accurate and intact. Dr Mark Mezey is quite meticulous in everything he carries out, and is satisfied with nothing short of perfection. The staff are helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. I would have no hesitation in recommending from a clinical point of view. On a negative note, there are usually long delays in response to emails, sometimes more than three days which I find a little worrying. Having brought this to the clinic co-ordinators attention, it is my understanding they are addressing this issue. I cannot stress the importance of communication given the geographical distance. It was a positive experience and I would have no hesitation in returning for further treatment.

The dental practice used by Budapest Dental Solutions appeared very modern and clean with friendly, knowledgeable staff. My dentist was Dr Mezey who spoke fluent English and explained the different options of implants with me.
I was required to travel to Budapest twice, the first time April 2007 for X-rays, dental cast and to place the titanium rods in my jaw bone and then in September 2007 for another X-ray check-up and to attach the porcelain implants. Although in one place my jaw bone had receded after many years of having a bridge, the implant which replaced it is still firmly in place and I am overall happy with the result. I would especially recommend dental treatment abroad for people with no history of complications. I would have paid £7500 for private treatment in the UK. For £3500 I got dental treatment and a two-week holiday in beautiful Budapest for two people.
Budapest Dental Solutions can recommend a reasonably-priced hotel in a lovely location in the Buda Hills, will pick you up atthe airport and drive you to hotel and the dental practice. I had an altogether great experience with Budapest Dental Solutions.

After years of expensive dental bridge work in the UK, with mixed results, I decided to opt for implants for my upper teeth. Having taken the decision, I then decided to have the work done in Hungary because of that country's renown in the field of dentistry.
The next step was to find the right dentist to do the work, so, one Sunday afternoon in November 2007, I scanned the internet and sent enquiries off to nine Hungarian dental practises. In the weeks that followed, I whittled the nine down to a short list of two, before selecting Budapest Dental Solutions and the Oral Studio clinic to do the work. My choice was made on the basis of (a) the quality of service provided by Peter of of Budapest Dental Solutions and (b) the experience and expertise of the Oral Studio's dentists, in particular, that of Dr Huszak.
At the beginning of March 2008 I flew to Budapest, were I was met by Gabor, who was really friendly and helpful and took good care of all my arrangements during the trip. On the day of arrival, I had all the initial work done by Dr Huszak and was impressed, not only by Dr Huszak's surgical skills, but by the level of hygiene and the care afforded me by his assistants during the treatment.
Three months later at the beginning of June 2008, I returned to Budapest to have the work completed. Once again Gabor met me (and my wife) at the airport and once again all of the preparatory work was done on the day of arrival, by a combination of Dr Balazs and Dr Huszak this time. Four days later, I had my new teeth successfully fitted by Dr Balas and checked by Dr Huszak. In between visits, my wife and I spent thee days sightseeing in Budapest in lovely weather and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Three weeks on and all is well with my new teeth. Peter followed up upon my return to make sure everything was OK, and, on my experiences to date, I would whole heartedly recommend the services of Budapest Dental Solutions and the Oral Studio clinic to any one thinking of having implants. Not least because, although I opted for one of the most complex solutions, involving non-metallic abutments and crowns, I paid a fraction of the price I would have paid in the UK and could not have received better treatment however much more I had paid.

It's a big decision to up-stakes and travel to Budapest for dental treatment when you don't know anybody who has done so before. I started by looking online and carefully reading all sites - the main concerns were the Clinic and facilities, the area of Budapest and the Hotel accommodation available. If you haven't been to Budapest before it is a big decision to make. I emailed several Clinics and received almost immediate response, but finally decided on using Budapest Dental Solutions. As they have an English speaking representative in both England and Budapest, I felt ' at ease ' and decided to use their services and that of Oral Studio in Budapest. I made initial contact with Peter in England who set ' the ball rolling ' and kept in contact with me. Within days, all was arranged and I was on my way.
One of my sons who lives in Edinburgh agreed to accompany me so we flew from Edinburgh using Lufthansa airlines. I would not use them again though - the food onboard was appalling and Frankfurt Airport, where we had a long stopover on the outward journey, was awful!
We were met as agreed by Gabor, who arranged the Hotel accommodation where we stayed 7 nights - given a mobile phone for use to make contact with him while there, and he arranged to collect us the next day for my appointment. He was on hand should we ever need him and certainly made the trip easier - just knowing we had someone there we could rely on, took any worries away.
On the Monday, Gabor took us to the Clinic - it was beautiful, modern, spotless, light and airy and welcoming. It didn't even smell like a dental practice and the waiting area was so homely I tended to forget I was at the dentists! My two dentists, Dr Huszak and Dr Zahonyi along with all their colleagues shook hands and made me feel as if I were the only person there and not just a number! As I was having new dentures made, I only had 3 short appointments and on the Friday, I walked out sporting my new teeth. The Clinic is closed over the weekend, but when Gabor was told on the Saturday I was having bother with my lower set, he arranged for Dr Huszak to come in especially for me. I was so impressed when Dr Huszak made a few adjustments and sorted my problem - he should have been at home with his family.
Nowhere in Britain would I have had that extra personal service, and at a cost of around £630 for my teeth, it was absolutely wonderful. Dr Huszak would like me to consider implants in my lower gum so perhaps I may be going back sooner rather than later.
Budapest is a beautiful place and the public transport is second to none. We walked miles every day though so we didn't miss out on seeing as much as possible. We both agreed we will go back for a family holiday and perhaps rent an apartment.
A special thanks to Peter in England and Gabor in Budapest for making everything go like clockwork - and keeping in constant contact - you both made everything so easy.
I have no hesitation in encouraging anybody travelling to Budapest for dental treatment to make contact with Budapest Dental Solutions - they will organise everything - you just sit back and enjoy. I am more than willing to be contacted by anybody planning a Dental trip to Budapest - just ask Budapest Dental Solutions for my contact details.
Many thanks to Oral Studio
I wish to thank Dr Balazs Zahonyi - you are a perfect gentleman and did a wonderful job.
I have a special thanks for Dr Andras Huszak, another perfect gentleman, who not only provided me with lovely dentures but he excelled by seeing me on his day off ( Saturday ). He so kindly came to the Clinic and made adjustments to my lower denture. Nowhere in Britain would I have received such personal and wonderful treatment.
Dr Huszak discussed the possibility of me having lower implants and I would value having a cost for this treatment as I may return at a later date.
To all - thanks again - you were brilliant, and we had a lovely holiday at the same time.

Diane & Mary in BudapestI've have received treatment from Oral Studio, a clinic in Budapest. Modern, state of the art surgery, three great implantologists. I can't have implants in my upper jaw because the bone is too frail. Not having bone graft from donor bone....don't fancy it and it was not the suggested solution by the Dental surgeon I saw.
I have had two implants in lower jaw and will have 3 bridges which will have 11 crowns between them for the sum £ 3135. I have to return in about 3 months for the implants to be crowned & all the bridge work. I have only paid for the dental treatment I have actually received so far. In London the cheapest implant was £ 2400. The bridge work and crowns would be about £ 2420. If you can find an NHS dentist prepared to do them the sky's the limit for private work. So if we comparing the prices I will pay £ 3135 instead of £ 7220, which is about the half, and means I will save £ 3775.
I stayed 5 nights in a 4* hotel (£ 37 per night with breakfast inc.) and flew out on Easy Jet from Luton together they cost £ 310. I have annual trip insurance costing £ 100 but they are aware that I go to Budapest for dental treatment. You must start getting your travel insurance early because a number of firms will not deal with travelers going for medical work of any kind and do of course exclude tooth problems from the policy. If you do not tell them about the nature of your visit, your policy can be invalidated if they find out when you are forced to claim for something else.
However, the best and most helpful thing was the fact that two bilingual surgery representatives from the company named Budapest Dental Solutions were available from the very beginning. One lives in UK and prepared a rough estimate for me The other lives in Budapest, arranges appointments & accommodation. He met me at the airport & took me to my appointments & stayed there in case I should need any help with explanations. The Budapest Dental Solutions were there for me 24 hours a day, for not only the dental cases, but always to find the best way to spend my time there. The dentists speak good English too.
